Some thoughts on anxiety

I have prayed for many people, and I hope that I can have the privilege to pray for many more, but one of the things that I find is a consistent prayer request is anxiety. Did you know that faith is an antidote for anxiety and stress? We wouldn't worry and fear so much if we remembered the faithfulness of our Lord on a daily basis. If God clothes the grass of the field which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven shall he not much more clothe you O ye of little faith?

We feel like circumstances have changed and the world has changed. Maybe so . . . but God has not changed. His love for you has not changed. His ability to give you peace has not changed.
Evil and corrupt leaders have always existed. Trust God to deal with it. Submit to those that are over you: your parents, your husband, your pastors, your bosses, your government. Submission is such an ugly word these days but it shouldn't be. A lot of our anxiety comes from taking on pressure that isn't meant to be ours in the first place. If we just trust our leaders out of reverence for God. I think we will find a big load lifted from our chest. No, our leaders are not perfect but neither are we. And God can work things together for good.
I pray God's peace to be with you and that anxiety won't be a problem anymore.
