Remember, don’t forget

The best is yet to come

Your life’s not over yet

The clouds just hide the sun

This changes nothing, God is good

You can trust his faithfulness

If we stopped and understood 

Can we see that we are blessed?

Though our fears are often baseless

And our anxieties unfounded 

We can cast our cares upon him

He will see that we stay grounded 

Remember that since childhood

You’ve been cradled in his care

You’re the apple of his eye

And he knows your every hair

Though from man we may be shamed

To hide and suffer through our tears

But with him we can come boldly

Share our anger, share our fears

As a child that has good parents

Knows that he will soon be fed

We must remember that our Father

Sees that all our needs are met
