When you mess up, remember
Nothing has changed
Our loyalty waivers
But he stays the same

We fail and we flounder
But that isn't new
The difference is now
We have him to go to

Jesus lived in the flesh
But remained without sin
He brings no condemnation
But his guidance within

Because he has experience
With the flesh and this life
He can give us strength through it
But we need to abide

In those time we're most tempted
To run away from his sight
We most need to run to him
It's in him we should hide
We must trust in his mercy
And find strength by his side
