Step by Step

Lord, my life is in you,

So to you I lift this prayer.

Your word says that you're with me,

That you count every hair.

When I consider my path

What I want and need to do.

Its easy to get anxious, 

When I don't factor in you.

I'm not meant to live this life alone

And I don't think I am able.

So I'll choose to trust and follow you,

You're my rock and you are stable.

Your word says so much about you,

That you're merciful, forgiving,

And I know I'm made for a purpose,

And theres a reason for my living.

And if the road that's up ahead 

Is steep and hard to bear,

I'll take it with you

Step by step

On you I'll cast my care.

I'll find rest within your loving arms.

I know that you are there.
