Our New Identity: Complaint Free World Day 19
2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
The word that keeps coming to my mind is identity? What is your identity? You may have been a quitter in the past. You may have had anger issues in the past. You may have had weight issues in the past. You may have complained too much . . . but "old things are passed away." This does not have to be your identity any more. In Christ we have a new identity. The New Living Translation says "the old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
Find out what your new identity is in Christ. Trust what he says about you. Through him and in him we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), we can do all things (Philippians 4:13), we are the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Adopt what he says about you as your true identity and let the old pass away.

I had a complaint free day! That means I made it to day 3 today!
