Complaint Free World: Day 7

Philippians 4:8 KJV
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8 NLT
And now dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

There is so much evil in the world. The world can be such a scary place. But it is also beautiful. I have met so many amazing, beautiful, selfless people in my life. They have been a testimony to me that there is a God and he is good. Now, we live in a world, where both the good and the bad are true and real. It is up to us to choose what it is that we focus on. The bible urges us to choose to think about the good.

I can choose to fill my thoughts and therefore my words with all that is wrong or I can choose to see what is good and be grateful to the Lord because he is the source of it all.

How I did Day 6:
Day 6 was my first complaint free day! I found myself intentionally asking others to do things and saying thank you rather than complaining as an indirect way of getting what I want.
